Up above the world so high...

Like diamonds in the sky
Twinkle, twinkle, little stars
When the blazing sun is gone,
When he nothing shines upon,
Then you show your little lights

Twinkle, twinkle, all the night
Then the trav'ler in the dark
Thanks you for your tiny sparks;
How could he see where to go,
If you did not twinkle so?
For you never shut your eyes,
Till the morning sun does rise…

Though I know not what you are,
Twinkle on, please, little stars.

que seria o firmamento sem todas as suas estrelas?...
